KRÜMEL EXHIBITION

"Krümmel" was born from the idea of preserving memory, by collecting and shaping it. We occupied the space of the apartment project with the intention of recording and filming our encounters, a process we called "performative interviews." We began by inviting friends, acquaintances, and artists to share their personal stories and engage in discussions. Our guests were encouraged to create, sing, perform, and participate in an artistic exchange.These crumbs of memory began to materialize thanks to the participation of artists who responded to the stories we had collected. This collection of works by various artists delves into the ways we form, share, and preserve memories through both tangible and intangible mediums. 

The collection, once in the space, wove fragile links between them and began a dialogue.From the volcano of Petra to the bald head of Nysiros.Only time can destroy the sand cakes and the sand castles of Chios.Sometimes, a pain between your fingers and a rushed farewell.An elixir to survive and to only remember.
